How could I think of accepting this baby…when its father was rejecting me?
Meet Marina – barely 19 years old and unmarried, she is 7 months pregnant.
When her boyfriend of four years heard of her pregnancy, he blamed it on her, refusing to have anything to do with her or the baby.
“My blood went cold when I heard those words. How could I bring a baby into this hopeless situation? I had no husband, no job, no support…”, says Marina.
But before Marina’s thoughts could lead her to the unthinkable, the Saved Pearl Foundation stepped in to offer support in the form of board and lodging, nutritious food, supplements, counseling and medical expenses. Invaluable support like this can give expectant women and girls in crisis like Marina a reason to carry their babies to full term!
All donations are eligible for 50% tax exemption under section 80G of the Income Tax Act 1961.
But Marina is not out of the woods yet. The young mama-to-be has been admitted to the hospital with blood pressure issues in both mother and child. As Marina struggles to keep her baby alive inside, mounting hospital bills add to the pressures of being an unwed mother.
YOU can give Marina and our other expectant mothers in crisis the hope and strength to carry their babies to full term!*
