The Saved Pearl Foundation has been working with expectant women struggling to keep their babies safe due to:
- Pregnancy out of wedlock
- Financial constraints
- Rape resulting in pregnancy
- Abandonment by partner
- Violent/abusive partner
Due to their efforts, 59 babies have been saved by simply providing these pregnant women with the physical and emotional support they need:
- Board and lodging
- Nutritious food and supplements
- Counseling and emotional support
- Medical expenses
- Legal aid
